SELECTED EXPERIENCE
Business Negotiations
Provided Chinese–French interpreting support for project negotiations between Chinese and French-speaking parties, covering residential development plans, pricing, cooperation models, project delivery and contract terms. Prepared for the assignment by translating and reviewing project materials and researching relevant background and terminology.
International Event
Worked as an on-site assistant and interpreter for the CHANEL Métiers d'Art Show in Hangzhou, providing end-to-end guest support throughout the programme, including airport transfers, hotel check-in, cultural visits, dining and event activities. Communicated on site in Chinese, French and English. Prior to the event, translated itinerary-related materials from Chinese into French and prepared relevant cultural background and terminology for scheduled visits.
Multilingual Subtitle Services
Provided multilingual subtitle language services for the China Opera Research Society's Chinese Opera Performance Season and other overseas Chinese opera productions. Depending on the project, responsibilities included subtitle translation, review and post-editing, as well as coordinating translators across multiple languages and overseeing final subtitle delivery.
Chinese–French interpreting and accompaniment at industrial trade shows, as well as reception and project introduction interpreting for international business delegations.
ABOUT
I'm Chloe Sun, a Chinese–French translator and interpreter based in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. I spent around ten years living and studying in France and hold a Master's degree from PSL University.
Chinese is my native language, while French has been a central part of my academic, personal and professional life for many years. I also use English as a working language. My experience across different linguistic and cultural environments forms the foundation of my work in Chinese–French translation and interpreting today.
